Govinda belongs to a global restaurant chain run by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON, also called Krishna Movement). One of the movement's purpose is to serve out "karma-free" food, called prasadam. Prasadam is vegetarian food that is cooked with care and in meditation on Radha-Krishna. This is common in India, as a way to give the food a kind of spiritual quality. All Govindas Restaurant serves only prasadam. Try it yourself and see if you notice any difference. Many do it actually. Tasty prasadam meal!
